We chose Fort Atkinson High School for a variety of reasons. Our son needed a bigger student population to challenge him. The music program is phenomenal - with our is son involved in several different things from Marching Band to Show Choir - and this year, the musical. All of Joe's teachers touched him in some way his freshman year - and I could list all the teachers he had and what they did for him. Joe rated his freshman year a "17" on a scale of 1-10 -- we couldn't be happier - and neither could he! Our daughter is now a freshman and is experiencing the same caring climate. She jumped into getting involved and is following in her brother's footsteps! We travel one hour round trip to school - and with involved kids, that's a lot of trips, but worth every second of it! Fort High School is top-notch as far as we are concerned!

Being from another state, I really wasn’t familiar with the school system here in Wisconsin . I just wanted you to know that your school system is second to none. You have great teachers and administrators and after moving from one state to Wisconsin , my daughter graduated a year ago, with honors, two scholarships and has just finished her first year at UW-Milwaukee on the Dean’s List. I know that here are many outstanding students graduating from Fort Schools and all the caring parents, have your programs and teachers to thank for it.
Thank you again,
Bill and Rosemary Olson, FortAtkinson
“Tonight I wanted to thank all of my son’s teachers and administration for their help and great understanding in fulfilling the special needs of our son. I would like to acknowledge them now:
To the maintenance and kitchen crew for making the building much brighter and much more delicious. To all of the secretaries in the attendance and main offices who some say are the ones that really run the school.
Ladies and gentlemen, my wife and I thank you and offer our congratulations on a job well done. Please continue your ways of excellence and may every child that goes through the Fort Atkinson school district take advantage of the many treasures and experiences that you offer to them.”
