185.1 - Citizen Advisory Committee
The Board may appoint a citizen advisory committee to provide a method for the participation of the general public in matters of educational planning and school operation. The Board shall specify the duties and duration of the committee.
Citizen committees, appointed by the Board, shall be representative of the entire School District and shall be limited to making recommendations and suggestions for Board consideration.
No citizen committee shall be empowered to make decisions which are the legal responsibility of the Board.
