Welcome to 5th Grade Band and Orchestra!

Hello! I am excited to be teaching 5th grade band and orchestra. I have been teaching for 30 years, including general music choir, and instrumental music.  I believe that every student can learn something through music.   My goal is to share my love for music with as many students as possible.  

My family has lived in Fort Atkinson since 2001. My husband Dorian and I have three children, Sydney, Caleb, and Claire, who have all attended Fort Schools.  In my spare time, I teach lessons, participate at my church, and enjoy being outdoors.  In the summer, I participate in the Fort Atkinson Community Band and teach lessons as much as possible.  I am a huge fan of Harry Connick Jr., and last year worked with his team to assist teaching lessons to students through his online Piano Party group.  We have two cats, Swag and Whiskey, and one dog name Pache.
