Welcome to third grade at Luther!

I am excited to be your child's teacher this year. This is my eighth year at Luther and my 21st year teaching. I love exposing children to the amazing world of reading. One of my passions is to help my students fall in love with reading. I graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in Elementary/Middle Education. While teaching, I returned to UW-Whitewater and earned my Reading Teacher and Reading Specialist degrees. 

I live in Fort Atkinson with my husband, Allen, and two daughters. Emily is a high schooler. She plays golf and soccer. Hannah is a middle schooler. She plays volleyball, the cello and performs with the Fourth Street Singers. We have a rescue dog named Mabel. She loves to sunbathe in the summer and avoid the snow in the winter.  We also have two cats named Mini and Addie. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing CrossFit, reading, watching Hallmark movies, and baking.
