BOARD POLICY 422
422 - Nonresident Tuition Students
Tuition fees, computed in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes, shall be charged those pupils whose legal resident is outside the boundaries of the School District. Written tuition contracts are required. This provision does not apply to nonresident pupils who are participants in programs developed under s. 66.30 of Wisconsin Statutes. In this case, the fees stated in the s. 66.30 agreements shall apply.
Tuition pupils may be assigned by the District Administrator to any school according to convenience and accommodation available.
A Board of Education may permit a pupil who is enrolled in a school under its jurisdiction and is a resident of the School District at the beginning of the school year to complete the school year at the school without payment of tuition, even though the pupil is no longer a resident of the School District.
Upon request of a student’s parent or guardian, the Board shall permit a student who has gained 12th grade status and is a resident of the School District at the time of gaining such status to complete 12th grade at the high school without payment of tuition, even though the student is no longer a resident of the School District.
