BOARD POLICY 420
420 - Admission
The District shall strictly follow the requirements of attendance and admission as specified in Wisconsin Statutes. Any child entering any public school in the District shall be screened for the purpose of determining any exceptional need. Due process will be followed in all such examinations. Students desiring enrollment in the School District shall provide the District with their social security number.
The School District shall not discriminate in admissions to any school, class, program, activity, or facilities usage on the basis of sex, religion, color, handicap, race, national origin, ancestry, genetic information, creed, pregnancy, parental or marital status, sexual orientation or physical, learning, emotional or mental disability.
It is the policy of the School District of Fort Atkinson not to enroll any student who has been expelled from another School District during the expulsion. It is the prerogative of the District, however, to consider specific and extraordinary situations in making the enrollment determination.
